Being an Agile Leader, that is, developing and showing situational awareness and making informed decisions during times of change, is paramount to your success. The aim of this project-based training is to help first time managers build and apply their leadership competencies at the workplace, be more inclusive and efficient, find their own voice, and in turn, help their team achieve their potential through a series of hands-on projects.

A clear understanding of what organizational change is can help build your resilience and flexibility. In this course, you'll find out what organizational change is and what can trigger it. You'll identify the reasons why organizational change is difficult, as well as exploring the positive results that can come out of it. Finally, you'll identify the stages of reactions to change and learn how to prepare yourself to get the most out of change.

In the workplace, there are two specific types of mindsets, or attitudes, that can either promote personal growth and resilience or hamper an employee's performance. People with a growth mindset achieve ever-higher levels of productivity and can help their organizations thrive; by contrast, people with a fixed mindset tend not to develop professionally, and may hinder an organization's goals. In this course, you'll learn about the characteristics of a growth mindset, such as perseverance, and how to distinguish it from a fixed mindset. You'll also explore methods of developing mindsets for success, and how professional growth can benefit you and your organization.
